Inkheart is a 2008 fantasy film directed by Iain Softley and starring Brendan Fraser, Eliza Bennett, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, Andy Serkis and Jim Broadbent. It is based on the novel with the same name by Cornelia Funke. The film was first
slated for release on 19 March 2008, but had been pushed back to 12 December 2008 in the UK and 23 January 2009 in the US.

Review from Me: For me, this movie is totally awesome. Though it is an adaptation from the book, but I love the way Brendan Fraser expressed in this story. Frankly, for the people who loves fantasy story, this is a great movie for you to watch. Lots of genres have been adapted to the story including friendship, family, morality, power, self-esteem and many more. I love when the real characters really come from the books and how does they view themselves when they know what happened to them in end of the story. For example, how Dustfinger show a really shock expression and I-can't-accept-the-fact mood after that. This is really interesting thing to watch.
